The lips are a central part of our appearance and a symbol of attractiveness and a youthful look. However, not everyone is happy with the volume or shape of their lips - sometimes volume, symmetry or well-defined contours are lacking. Lip correction with hyaluronic acid makes it possible to improve all these aspects gently and effectively. The treatment combines targeted volume enhancement with emphasis on the natural shape of the lips, while maintaining a natural, not exaggerated, look.
Whether it is correcting small asymmetries or shaping delicate contours, the treatment offers many options for shaping the lips according to your personal preferences.
Our experienced doctors at Dermacare will be happy to accompany you through the process, give personalised advice and work together to achieve the best result for you. Have you ever wondered how your lips would look with a subtle, flattering enhancement?

How lip augmentation with hyaluronic acid works, who it suits and which products we use.
Hyaluronic acid, as a natural substance in the body, is an important component of connective tissue. However, as we age, the amount of natural hyaluronic acid in the skin decreases, causing the skin to lose moisture and elasticity. The lips, too, lose volume and moisture over the years as part of the natural ageing process.
Through gentle injection of small amounts of hyaluronic acid, it is possible to balance the loss of volume in the lips that occurs with age, and give the lips a fresher and more hydrated look. In addition, the expert doctors at Dermacare correct unwanted asymmetries at the patient's request, define the contours of the lips and build volume gently and in a personalised way in the desired areas.
The professional team at Dermacare provides a comprehensive consultation before each treatment, in order to understand your personal needs and wishes and to match the most precise solution - whether it is augmentation, correcting an asymmetry or shaping the contours.
With convenient access, fair prices and service of the highest standard, Dermacare is the ideal choice for lip augmentation treatments.

For an aesthetic result at the highest level, the doctor's experience in injecting hyaluronic acid is critical. All the doctors at Dermacare have undergone additional training and have extensive experience. That is why we can take pride in satisfied clients and excellent treatment results.
To achieve the best result with a long-lasting effect, we use only clinically tested hyaluronic acid fillers from the best-known manufacturers. These products have been in use for many years.
In a personal consultation, the doctors will address your personal wishes and discuss the results expected from the treatment. You will be able to learn everything about the treatment process, what to expect from it and the instructions for afterwards.
Before the injection, a numbing cream is applied to the lips and works for about 20 minutes. The hyaluronic acid also contains lidocaine to reduce pain.
Before every treatment, a consultation with a doctor takes place, during which you can have all your questions answered and review all the options suitable for you. Your treating doctor at Dermacare will hold a conversation with you before the lip correction treatment begins, to determine together which hyaluronic acid will suit you best.
A medical questionnaire is completed in order to identify and avoid possible risks.
To document the success of the treatment, a photo is taken before the treatment.
Before the hyaluronic acid is injected, a numbing cream is applied to the lips. The cream works for about 20 minutes and reduces the sensation of pain during the treatment.
Now the treatment itself begins, during which the hyaluronic acid is injected in a pre-determined amount. The filler itself also contains a small amount of anaesthetic, to make the treatment more comfortable. The treatment lasts between 15 and 30 minutes, and the results of lip correction with hyaluronic acid filler are visible immediately upon its completion.
Hyaluronic acid products break down over time through the body's natural metabolism. Usually, a maintenance treatment is needed after 9-12 months, depending on personal needs and the treated area.
After the treatment, slight swelling, formation of a haematoma (bruise), pain or tenderness at the injection site may occur. Usually, these effects are described as mild to moderate and tend to disappear shortly after the injection. In most cases, they pass completely within a day or two.
The treatment is carried out by Dermacare's doctors at our clinic in Petah Tikva.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the body. Chemically, it is a chain of sugar molecules with a very high capacity to absorb and retain water. In anti-aging, hyaluronic acid is used to treat wrinkles because of its ability to bind an amount of water 6,000 times its own weight – that is, one gram of hyaluronic acid can absorb up to 6 litres of water. In the human body, most hyaluronic acid is found in the skin, where it helps hold the cells together and keeps the skin moisturised. It is also found in the joints and the eyes.
From the age of 25, the body produces less hyaluronic acid, and by the age of 60 only about 10% of the original reserve remains in the body.
We use high-quality hyaluronic acid from the world's leading manufacturers, containing lidocaine – an anaesthetic that helps reduce the sensation of pain. During the injection, lidocaine numbs the treated area, so the treatment is barely felt and is performed with minimal discomfort, thanks to the use of an ultra-thin needle.
On the day of treatment, you will be at the clinic for about 60 minutes in total. The procedure itself takes about 30 minutes, after which you wait about 20 minutes for the numbing cream to take effect before the injection.
On the first day after the treatment, the swelling that appears immediately after the injection will usually be at its maximum. The appearance of bruising on the lips is not unusual. The swelling and bruising will decrease significantly within a day or two, and will usually disappear completely within 5-7 days. If needed, a medication to reduce the swelling can be provided.
It is recommended to avoid strenuous activity in the two days following the treatment, and to avoid sport, saunas, alcohol and the use of blood-thinning medication, such as aspirin and ibuprofen.
When the treatment is performed by an experienced doctor, hyaluronic acid injection into the lips is safe and is considered to have few side effects. However, as with any medical treatment, the possibility of rare side effects or complications cannot be completely ruled out.
Because every injection causes minimal trauma to the tissue, swelling, redness, itching, mild tenderness or bruising (blue marks) may appear. These effects are common and resolve on their own within 5–7 days. If you wish, anti-swelling products can be used to speed up the healing process.
It is recommended to avoid blood-thinning medication, such as aspirin or ibuprofen, for several days before hyaluronic acid injections, as these medications may increase the risk of bruising (blue marks). If bruises do appear, they are expected to disappear within 5-7 days. If you are prone to herpes outbreaks, it may be advisable to take preventive anti-herpes tablets, as recommended by the doctor.
Hyaluronic acid treatment (including lip contouring) should be avoided in the following cases:
After the treatment, the skin may look slightly swollen, but this disappears naturally within a day or two. Mild redness and swelling may appear at the injection site, usually subsiding within one day. In the case of lip injections, the swelling may last longer.
Although it is recommended to avoid strenuous activity, you can return to your routine and daily activities straight after the treatment.
