In brief
- In summer, UV radiation, heat, sweat, sea water and chlorine put a strain on facial skin, so deep cleansing in addition to your home routine is especially important.
- HydraFacial removes dirt, excess oil and dead cells and prepares the skin to absorb nourishing ingredients well.
- There are several versions: basic, with an acid peel, hydro-needling and hydro-RF for deep cleansing and tightening.
- Deep facial cleansing is recommended every 4-6 weeks depending on skin type, especially in the summer months.
Who doesn't want smooth, clear, radiant facial skin? Both in winter, when the skin tends to dry out, and in hot summer, which brings significant challenges: UV radiation, heat, sweat, humidity, sunscreen and salt water or chlorine put a strain on facial skin and can lead to various skin blemishes. Deep cleansing in summer is the key to keeping facial skin clean, balanced, smooth and fresh – even on the hottest, most humid days.
We at the Dermacare clinic are here to show you how to keep your skin radiant and healthy all year round. Which treatment can deep-clean the pores? How do you care for your skin correctly and effectively? And how do you give it a perfect glow in summer too?
Facial care in summer
The hot months demand exceptional performance from the skin. Sunlight increases the formation of free radicals, which accelerate skin ageing. Heat and sweat clog the pores, while air conditioning and sea or pool water draw essential moisture from the skin. The result can be tired, dry skin and an uneven complexion, or excess oiliness leading to breakouts.

Deep care, in addition to daily cleansing at home, becomes essential to deep-clean the skin and restore its glow, provide rich hydration and protect against further damage. The right skincare routine in the hot season will help you keep your facial skin clean and healthy over time.
HydraFacial – deep cleansing for clean, radiant facial skin
HydraFacial is much more than a cosmetic treat – it is an essential step for clearing dirt, excess oil and dead cells, allowing the skin to absorb nourishing ingredients and restore its natural balance. At the Dermacare clinic we use advanced HydraFacial technology, which harnesses the power of water for deep cleansing, rich hydration and skin rejuvenation. After just one treatment, the skin feels smooth, fresh and looks even and radiant.
Tailored treatments: from basic cleansing to anti-aging
Every skin is unique, which is why we offer different versions of HydraFacial, tailored precisely to your skin's needs:
- Basic HydraFacial: for refreshing deep cleansing and an instant glow.
- HydraFacial combined with an acid peel: perfect for smoothing minor skin imperfections and achieving an even skin tone.
- Hydro-needling: combines deep cleansing with microneedling to improve skin structure, elasticity and a youthful, smooth look.
- Hydro-RF: a powerful combination of HydraFacial and radiofrequency for deep cleansing and significant skin tightening.
All the treatments are designed to deep-clean the pores, provide deep hydration to the skin and leave it feeling fresh and light – perfect for hot summer days.

Renewed energy for dry skin
In summer, many people suffer from dry skin as a result of exposure to the sun, sea water or air conditioning. HydraFacial acts as a revitalising "shot" of freshness, with hyaluronic acid and antioxidants that provide instant hydration and protect against environmental damage. The treatment stimulates collagen production, contributing to smooth and glowing skin.
Facial care
Unlike regular skincare, which only treats the outer layer of the skin, HydraFacial works deep down, removing dirt and oil and preparing the skin for optimal absorption of active ingredients. The result is well-cared-for, radiant skin full of freshness.
When should you have a deep facial cleanse?
A HydraFacial treatment at the Dermacare clinic is a proven way to achieve clean, fresh, vibrant facial skin from the very first treatment. Depending on your skin type, deep facial cleansing is recommended every 4–6 weeks, especially in the summer months. This prevents a build-up of blemishes and protects against premature skin ageing. At the Dermacare clinic in Petah Tikva you can tailor the treatment to your skin goals – whether that is glow, anti-aging or simply a renewed feeling of freshness.

Clean facial skin is not a luxury – it is the basis for a fresh, healthy look. Want to find out which version of HydraFacial will give your skin the perfect summer glow? Frequently asked questions
During the first three hours after the peel, the treated area must not be exposed to water or cosmetic products. After that, a moisturiser or sunscreen can be applied.
During a series of peel treatments, products containing vitamin A must not be used. Avoid sun exposure during the treatments and for up to two weeks after they end. In the event of sun exposure, use a sunscreen with a high protection factor (at least SPF 20, and preferably higher).
To prolong the results of the treatment, it is recommended to continue caring for the skin with dedicated products, such as creams containing a low concentration of glycolic acid.
The skin looks fresher and firmer shortly after the treatment, but it may remain red for about 24 hours after microneedling. The process of cell renewal continues for several weeks to months and is completed after about 6 to 8 weeks. The results of the treatment also depend on the initial condition of the skin.
Proper preparation of the skin before the peel, as well as the aftercare, is essential to the success of the treatment. Anyone who is not prepared to follow the preparation and subsequent maintenance instructions is advised to avoid any aesthetic facial procedure, since without proper preparation good results cannot be achieved.
Please let us know if you smoke, if you have previously taken Roaccutane tablets, or if you suffer from internal diseases. A peel must not be performed during an active herpes outbreak or other acute inflammation, because of the risk of the infection spreading.
Before the treatment, you will receive a personal prescription from us that includes:
– A paraffin-based ointment
– An anti-inflammatory cream
– A moisturiser
– A sunscreen
As part of the skin preparation, retinol (Retin-A) cream and/or hydroquinone cream must be applied daily for 4-6 weeks before the peel. The cream must be applied evenly over the entire treated area, and not only on problem spots. In addition, a moisturiser and sunscreen must be used as part of the preparation process.
On the day of the peel, do not apply any make-up. Wash your face thoroughly with soap and water before arriving for the treatment.
It is recommended to wait about 8 weeks between treatments.
