In brief
- HydraFacial is a facial treatment that uses a water jet to deep-clean the skin, without mechanical friction or aggressive peeling.
- The treatment takes about 45 to 60 minutes and includes gentle cleansing and exfoliation, vacuum extraction, infusion of serums and red and blue light therapy.
- It can be combined with a fruit acid peel, hydro-needling or hydro-RF depending on the condition of the skin.
- For an even, radiant complexion, a treatment every 4-6 weeks is recommended, and oily, acne-prone or mature skin may need more frequent treatments.
Why is regular skincare not always enough?
Stress, environmental pollution and make-up leave their mark on the skin. Pores become clogged, the complexion looks less even and fine lines even begin to appear. Even expensive creams or high-quality masks will not always manage to penetrate deep into the skin and address the problem. Adding a HydraFacial treatment provides deep facial cleansing that reaches every layer of the skin and ensures smooth, radiant skin over time.
HydraFacial: how does the facial cleansing work?
HydraFacial is a modern facial treatment that uses a special water jet to deep-clean the skin. It does not just clean the surface, but also releases deep-seated dirt, dead cells and excess oil. The treatment is completely painless, with no mechanical friction or aggressive peeling. HydraFacial infuses serums rich in hydration that nourish the skin with essential ingredients.
The treatment provides deep facial cleansing suitable for all skin types, leaving the skin smooth, fresh and healthy.

The treatment process
A HydraFacial treatment takes about 45 to 60 minutes and includes several stages:
- Gentle cleansing and exfoliation: preparing the skin and removing dead cells.
- Deep facial cleansing using a vacuum technique: opening the pores and removing excess oil.
- Hydration: infusing serums with hyaluronic acid, vitamins and antioxidants.
- Light therapy: red light to stimulate collagen production, and antibacterial blue light.
The result is healthier, smoother skin and a brighter, even, radiant complexion.
Combined treatment
At the Dermacare clinic we combine treatments according to the condition of the skin to achieve optimal results. Combining HydraFacial with other treatments maximises the deep facial cleansing and gives a younger, fresher look.

HydraFacial with fruit acid
A gentle fruit acid peel enhances the effect of the deep cleansing, thoroughly removes dead cells and gives the skin a smooth, even tone. Ideal for skin with blemishes, enlarged pores or pigmentation spots.
Hydro-needling
A combination of HydraFacial with microneedling. Tiny micro-channels allow deep penetration of vitamins and hyaluronic acid, while activating natural collagen production. Perfect for fine lines, acne scars or tired skin.
Hydro-RF – HydraFacial meets radiofrequency
A powerful combination of radiofrequency microneedling and HydraFacial, combining deep cleansing with skin tightening. Heating the deep layers of the skin stimulates natural production of elastin and collagen, for firm, youthful-looking skin.

Frequently asked questions
During the first three hours after the peel, the treated area must not be exposed to water or cosmetic products. After that, a moisturiser or sunscreen can be applied.
During a series of peel treatments, products containing vitamin A must not be used. Avoid sun exposure during the treatments and for up to two weeks after they end. In the event of sun exposure, use a sunscreen with a high protection factor (at least SPF 20, and preferably higher).
To prolong the results of the treatment, it is recommended to continue caring for the skin with dedicated products, such as creams containing a low concentration of glycolic acid.
The skin looks fresher and firmer shortly after the treatment, but it may remain red for about 24 hours after microneedling. The process of cell renewal continues for several weeks to months and is completed after about 6 to 8 weeks. The results of the treatment also depend on the initial condition of the skin.
Proper preparation of the skin before the peel, as well as the aftercare, is essential to the success of the treatment. Anyone who is not prepared to follow the preparation and subsequent maintenance instructions is advised to avoid any aesthetic facial procedure, since without proper preparation good results cannot be achieved.
Please let us know if you smoke, if you have previously taken Roaccutane tablets, or if you suffer from internal diseases. A peel must not be performed during an active herpes outbreak or other acute inflammation, because of the risk of the infection spreading.
Before the treatment, you will receive a personal prescription from us that includes:
– A paraffin-based ointment
– An anti-inflammatory cream
– A moisturiser
– A sunscreen
As part of the skin preparation, retinol (Retin-A) cream and/or hydroquinone cream must be applied daily for 4-6 weeks before the peel. The cream must be applied evenly over the entire treated area, and not only on problem spots. In addition, a moisturiser and sunscreen must be used as part of the preparation process.
On the day of the peel, do not apply any make-up. Wash your face thoroughly with soap and water before arriving for the treatment.
It is recommended to wait about 8 weeks between treatments.
