In brief

  • After pregnancy the skin may become loose and stretch marks and pigmentation spots may appear; medical-aesthetic treatments can improve the skin's appearance and self-confidence.
  • Radiofrequency microneedling such as Morpheus8 encourages collagen and elastin production, tightens loose skin on the tummy, face, neck and thighs and reduces stretch marks.
  • A medical peel smooths out facial spots, and Pico laser treats pigmentation spots and older stretch marks.
  • Treatment starts with a preliminary consultation and a personal plan; it is recommended to avoid the sun and active ingredients before the treatment.
  • Recovery ranges from mild redness that fades within a few days to deep peeling that may last up to about two weeks, depending on the type of treatment.

Pregnancy is a wonderful journey, but it sometimes leaves physical changes that affect the body and self-confidence. Loose skin, stretch marks or changes in skin texture are among the challenges many mothers face after giving birth. Medical aesthetic treatments offer advanced ways to restore the skin and bring back a firm, vibrant appearance, while supporting emotional wellbeing. At the Dermacare clinic, we use leading technologies in Israel, such as radiofrequency (RF) microneedling devices such as Morpheus8 or the Pico laser, to help mothers feel their best. Whether you want to firm your tummy, fade stretch marks or refresh your face, aesthetic treatments after pregnancy are the key to physical and emotional recovery after pregnancy.

Aesthetic treatments after pregnancy are not just a matter of appearance – they strengthen your sense of self and allow mothers to focus on taking care of themselves. In Israel, where mothers juggle a busy routine, demand for quick and effective treatments is growing. With experience from thousands of treatments, Dermacare offers tailored solutions that combine effectiveness with convenience, so you can get back to your routine quickly.

The role of aesthetic treatments after pregnancy

After pregnancy, the body goes through various changes, such as loose skin, stretch marks and pigmentation spots, which may affect self-confidence. Advanced medical aesthetic treatments, such as radiofrequency (RF) microneedling and peels, help restore the skin by encouraging renewed production of collagen and elastin, smoothing and brightening the skin's texture. At the Dermacare clinic, we use the most innovative technologies and tailor treatments to different areas such as the tummy, thighs and face. In addition to the aesthetic improvement, the treatments also contribute to emotional wellbeing and give mothers a sense of renewal and greater self-confidence.

How do the treatments work?

Aesthetic treatments after pregnancy use advanced technologies that encourage the skin to renew itself naturally. Radiofrequency (RF) microneedling treatments, such as Morpheus8 for example, work by controlled heating of the deep layers of the skin, a process that helps firm and tighten the skin. Microneedling creates tiny, controlled injuries in the skin, stimulating the body's natural healing mechanism, which helps fade stretch marks and improve various skin imperfections. Laser treatment, for example, is performed with extremely short, fast pulses that break down pigments effectively. All procedures at the clinic are carried out under medical supervision and precisely tailored to the skin type and the area treated, to ensure maximum safety and optimal comfort.

Benefits for body and mind

These treatments offer significant physical improvement, such as firmer, smoother skin, but the greatest benefit is the inner change. Mothers who feel good about their appearance report improved self-confidence and a better ability to cope with everyday challenges. At the Dermacare clinic, we see how treatments such as RF or peels bring the glow back to both skin and spirit. The gradual results look natural, which increases the sense of comfort with the change.

Suitable treatments after pregnancy

Every new mother chooses the treatment that is relevant to her:

  • Radiofrequency (RF) microneedling: reduces stretch marks and improves skin texture. It also tightens loose skin on the tummy, face, neck or thighs.
  • Medical peel: smooths out spots on the face and restores the skin's glow.
  • Pico laser: focuses on treating pigmentation spots and older stretch marks. It also breaks down pigments effectively.

Preparation and recovery

Preparation for aesthetic treatments at the Dermacare clinic always begins with a preliminary consultation, in which the medical team assesses the condition of the skin and builds a personal treatment plan tailored to the patient. Before the treatment, it is recommended to avoid sun exposure and to stop using active ingredients or aggressive creams that may irritate the skin. The recovery period varies according to the type of treatment chosen, ranging from mild redness that fades within a few days to deep peeling of the skin that may last up to about two weeks (depending on the treatment). Our team gives every patient detailed instructions on proper care before and after the treatment, to ensure fast, safe recovery and optimal results.

Choosing the right clinic

Choosing a professional clinic is critical to the success of the treatments. Clinics without advanced equipment or a skilled team may deliver only partial results. At the Dermacare clinic, we offer technologies such as the PicoPulse, the leader in Israel, and experience from thousands of successful treatments in Israel and Europe. Our team will accompany you at every stage, from the consultation to recovery, to make sure you feel safe.

Frequently asked questions

During the first three hours after the peel, the treated area must not be exposed to water or cosmetic products. After that, a moisturiser or sunscreen can be applied.

During a series of peel treatments, products containing vitamin A must not be used. Avoid sun exposure during the treatments and for up to two weeks after they end. In the event of sun exposure, use a sunscreen with a high protection factor (at least SPF 20, and preferably higher).

To prolong the results of the treatment, it is recommended to continue caring for the skin with dedicated products, such as creams containing a low concentration of glycolic acid.

Proper preparation of the skin before the peel, as well as the aftercare, is essential to the success of the treatment. Anyone who is not prepared to follow the preparation and subsequent maintenance instructions is advised to avoid any aesthetic facial procedure, since without proper preparation good results cannot be achieved.

Please let us know if you smoke, if you have previously taken Roaccutane tablets, or if you suffer from internal diseases. A peel must not be performed during an active herpes outbreak or other acute inflammation, because of the risk of the infection spreading.

Before the treatment, you will receive a personal prescription from us that includes:
– A paraffin-based ointment
– An anti-inflammatory cream
– A moisturiser
– A sunscreen

As part of the skin preparation, retinol (Retin-A) cream and/or hydroquinone cream must be applied daily for 4-6 weeks before the peel. The cream must be applied evenly over the entire treated area, and not only on problem spots. In addition, a moisturiser and sunscreen must be used as part of the preparation process.

On the day of the peel, do not apply any make-up. Wash your face thoroughly with soap and water before arriving for the treatment.

A peel is an effective treatment for covering large areas of skin. Depending on the type of peel chosen, it can significantly improve the radiance of the skin tone, reduce wrinkles and improve the appearance of scars.

This question can only be answered after a personal consultation. There are different types of peel, chosen according to the aim of the treatment.

A fruit acid peel acts on the upper layers of the skin, the PQAge peel penetrates the middle layers, while the TCA peel also reaches the deeper layers.

As with any aesthetic treatment, a peel requires preparation beforehand and complementary care afterwards. Depending on the desired aim, the specialist will choose the most suitable type of peel for you.
